Yeah you did, and I appreciate it!
I went to that one for years, and it seemed like the same stuff every time...The same stuff I don't even slow down for at the summer swaps. I think I may have bought some Chinese tools once, but now that we have a Harbor Frieght, I just keep a list in the garage, and go there every 6 months. More time/money for the good stuff at the swaps. Looks like they still get fresh meat there once in a while. I guess I'll have to try it again next time. We'll have to try to hook up at Anoka this summer or something since we're so close.

people love to joke about patina but there is something special about parts that an old hot rodder took to a chrome shop sometime in the past...IMHO. They couldn't order it on line from a web site.

I much prefer old chrome to the new perfect stuff and personally think it's worth more.:D (I can't afford either) Nice find.

The "other piece" is the fuel pump-stand/crankcase breather.
Great price as long as the heads aren't eaten up with electrolisis...check the surfaces for straightness and check the spark plug holes for threads..
    all repairable if they're bad..

patina = ( HAMB definition ) rusted, corroded, cool old antique **** that someone else found in a barn, field, boneyard or swap meet before you did and now you're pissed because you didn't score it first.

  26. the areas around the water p***ages are not "crisp"kinda softened like some scuz was there before
the outer water necks have some erosion...
but not any worse than steel necks i have used
the spark plugs are all new and installed..?
hopefully the threads are all good
the pipe plugs look good too
    as far as being milled???
no visible cracks or missin fins
some edelbrock heads i have are much much worse

i'll be checkin them for square /warp soon

    thanks for your concern
swap meet rush is now a memory and reality sets in...
