frame ideas

    im about to start on my 54 chevy belair frame and looking for ideas...im gonna be using mustang11 front clip...gonna be bagged in all 4 corners with triangulated 4 link....gonna fab up some tophats for the mustang11 cross memeber...also does anyone have a spec sheet or tech on installing a mustang11 clip....measurements **** like that..also custom ideas..motor mounts,shock mounts,just looking for unique ideas custom ideas ..if you guys dont mind sharing your ideas..please post pics of your frame..thanks

    B***'s frame is about the coolest 49-54 frame I've ever seen. Ch***is Engineering and Yogi's has just about everything you need. If your fabbing the stuff up yourself just remember once you slam it nobody is gonna see it. Unlike a hot rod where a ton of the ch***is work will always be seen it's not so on a custom.
    That said if you can make a trick trunk area that would be *****en. Most I've seen are hacked up and unuseable once the car is bagged.

    The May '07 issue of Street Rodder magazine has a tech article on installing a Fatman's Mustang II in a '54 Chevy. Unfortunately it is not yet on their web site:

    I noticed the negative camber logo--- check ou the minitruck sites to see some really wild framework. like sportruck.com or socalcustoms.com

    i wanted to see other 53 54 chevy frames..ive seen minitruck frames of all shapes and sizes..:cool:

    I used a TCI from Walton Fabrication. Came with nice instructions. Ch***is Enginering also makes a nice MII. Both have great tech support also.
