B***'s frame is about the coolest 49-54 frame I've ever seen. Ch***is Engineering and Yogi's has just about everything you need. If your fabbing the stuff up yourself just remember once you slam it nobody is gonna see it. Unlike a hot rod where a ton of the ch***is work will always be seen it's not so on a custom. That said if you can make a trick trunk area that would be *****en. Most I've seen are hacked up and unuseable once the car is bagged.
The May '07 issue of Street Rodder magazine has a tech article on installing a Fatman's Mustang II in a '54 Chevy. Unfortunately it is not yet on their web site: www.strretrodderweb.com Hope this helps. I thought it was a good article.
gambino do you have any pics of your work on your car or 53 54 chevys that you have done work on?..or anyone else
theres a ton of pictures on 50chevy.com, theres a huge stockpile of gambinos frame on there too check this link---> http://50chevy.com/photos/1950 gambinos frame---> http://50chevy.com/photos/54_chevy_custom_frame and another---> http://50chevy.com/photos/shockwave last one---> http://50chevy.com/photos/lowering all from 50chevy.com, very bad*** site
I noticed the negative camber logo--- check ou the minitruck sites to see some really wild framework. like sportruck.com or socalcustoms.com
I used a TCI from Walton Fabrication. Came with nice instructions. Ch***is Enginering also makes a nice MII. Both have great tech support also.
this is the best link for doing the front i have seen http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=152076
