Good to hear she's on that path to recovery. Hold her close. I love my cars but it isn't even 'like' when compared to the true love for my wife and kids. The cars just become grease and rust.
Prayin for her Pal. I've got a 5 month old boy now and you really know what It means to care when you have kids. They matter more than all else. Hope ya'll make it through this ok. Layne
Saw this late , glad she's improving, never too late for a little Devine intervention. Prayers sent from Oklahoma. GV
Our prayers and hopes are with you from the Texas Gulf Coast. May your sweet girl have a full recovery and bless her family for many decades with her loving presence, and may all of you bless her with your love and attention forever.
The incredible power of prayer. It is always the hardest when we have to suffer while watching our little ones in pain. You did well asking for devine help in protecting your little one. When this is all behind you, you will realize that you have changed, and that's a good thing, because of the strength that it gives you to know that you are never alone in these situations, especially when you have an extended family as this group. Now, continue to LOVE that sweet little girl with all your heart.
Praying for her continued recovery.. and you and your family as well. Only takes a few minutes to make us realize what's really important in life. Brian
Thanks so much for the update Oddrod. We'll keep the prayers coming. Here's hoping and praying for a speedy and full recovery. God bless little Gianna (and what a pretty name!). Bob
I will pray for her as soon as I get this typed. I am truly sorry for her and you and your family. She is a cutie & you can just tell that she is Daddy's little helper next to the car, very nice pictures. I hope all gets better for everyone soon and that she is back out helping Dad on the car. Man, I thought about her all weekend and I'm so glad to hear she is doing better. Thanks for the update and let us know how she continues to improve. Aman.
Today was a big day for us...Gianna finally had surgery...as bad as our luck was the power of prayer and positive thinking has turned it all around...no nerve damage...no bloodsupply/necrosis issues...thought she was going to have to have skin grafts but the men in the smocks and funny pants said no worries (easy for them to say)...it is in a word UNBELIEVABLE...BUT YA GOTTA BELIEVE...she is suffering from some ICU psychosis...basically just being cooped up for so long and being examined every hour on the hour for the last five days has taken it's toll and she needs to get out of there...thanks for asking about how I am doing...basically it seems like I can't sleep...I guess that is why I am doing this update...my wife is exhausted yet exuberant and Gianna's twin brothers Josh and Jake have decided that they really do love their baby sis and can't wait for her to come home...one last note...last night was an allnighter in terms of trying to get her to sleep...she was restless and combative...but I was able to calm her down by looking at an issue of Rod and Culture magazine and by looking out the window at the cars in the hospital's parking lot...must have been the doctors lot as there was alot of euro crap out there...attached are a couple of pix of my baby...one in a wagon directing us around the icu unit in the wagon that a pretty cool orderly scrounged up...awesome people at Children's Hospital
