Kontinentals Lonestar Roundup 2004 Take it easy guys - if it's slow serving up the pictures try again in the morning....I figure it's going to be hit hard... - kyle
Hey Kyle How'd your Dad like the show...? Is he "Hooked"...? Did you bring your son...? and I see you ran out of memory card space...!! Because I know that there were alot more cars there than that!!! Thanks for sharing..., Give me a call later! Mark
hey Mark! - I actually went back to the truck and dumped the memory into my laptop once....and went back and took more pic's. My dad had a great time - yeah he's hooked! and we are both hooked on rockabiliy music....I wish they had some cd's for sale but they didn't.....Last night was a blast! Across the street from the continental club is the Austin hotel. Cars were pouring out of their parking lot and laying scratches up the street. It was awsome! - they put on a great show. There were alot more cars there...I just took pictures of the ones I liked I'm sunburned and I just rubbed on my Keith Weesner " hot chica's" stickers onto the inside lid of my toolbox I'm beat!
Kyle there's a record store on Lamar that has the largest collection of "Rockabilly" in town! Krupanut knows the name and they have live "Gigs" right at the store! The Austin Barns and Noble off Research also has a large collection including many local artists! Hope your wife will be able to tolerate both you and your Dad when you start cranking on the Roadster!!! Mark
Thanks for the info! .....just to make you jealous - we ate dinner Friday at Threadgills, and lunch today at Serrano's on red river...We need to meet up at the HAMB drags!

Wow, more Hemis than flatheads! And a set of Edmunds Hemi valve covers - those are really rare. Did Pete C. drive his dad's roadster in from SoCal? Thanks for the pics. Got more?

[/ QUOTE ] thats all she wrote - sorry....it would appear that pete did drive her in by the mud splattered on her....it's a real car!
Yea, no doubt about it being a real car. Saw it at the GNRS in Pomona on Saturday and then it was in the parking lot at the shop as a daily driver on Monday.
Thanks, I needed that. It snowed here today but it melted off. Ol' Normie Poo does get around doesn't he! Love Barnett's Van.
Damn! That's Flyrite's new chopper. I am going to have to talk to Jason (EvilFordCoupe) about that... Very cool pics in there... Travis
I saw Shaun Young with the Horton Brothers, and Marti Brom Friday night. Marti is (dark haired) Marilyn Monroe ***y with a powerful voice that projects. Marti shaking in her purple go-go string dress gave me the SHWING!
