Finally took the plunge and bagged the continental... yeah yeah bags are for fags whatever... The civil rights cruisers more of a custom now at least.

I need a good upholstery shop in Slowcal.

Nice! ...and excellent timing as I'm helping a friend figure out a bag set-up for his '62 Continental. Can you fill me in on the details of yours?
...for an interior, you might want to check out Sammy Head down on 190 St. 1 blk. west of Hawthorne Blvd. in Torrance/Redondo. He's a rodder and does proper work.

Very nice. That's all these cars need to look better. Can't wait to get my '65 on the road.

  14. So now the Lincoln is a 4 bagger, maaaan that's bad.:D

    Sorry I just couldn't resist.

I'm not a big bag man myself but I've got to say its got two things going for it. It looks good and you can drive it. I'm guessign you can't really ask for much more than that.

  15. I love those things anyhow, but damn yours is perfect, wouldn't change a thing.

    COOL.

Great job! I like the T'bird style grille, too.

Glad to see Lincoln's getting the respect and attention they deserve.

Did install the bags yourself or did a shop do it?

I've been thinking about bagging mine.

Rear didn't have room for a 4 Link setup so its a leaf setup. The axle isn't the limiting factor its the tire size that keeps it from going even lower in the back. In the front the factory A Arm geometry is the limiting factor. Would have to make some tubular ones or do some hacking to get it lower... Its low enough...

    Thanks for the kind words.

It just doesn't get much better than that...

Wish I still had my 65.... Sold it for $600 and the guy drove it 2500 miles across the country to his shop then restored it...

    Gotta find another one before.......

  27. If you're gonna start caring what other people think,it's time to sell it! FUCK what anybody else thinks about bags. Car looks bitchin. I bet it will blow minds, pullin in somewhere with a stock looking car, then dumping it and watch the jaws drop. SWEET!

  28. Looks great. I sold my 61 vert a little over a year ago. Super cool cars. I had the license plate RATPACK. No room in the trunk though when the top is down.
