Orn, thats a great looking buick. im taking a trip to Europe in July, i might just have to pass by and check that thing out in person.

thanks fellas, buick is off the road right now, im almost done fitting my 700r4 to the Straight 8 should cruise at 80+ mph with the right rear diff.

orn ill pm ya when the time gets near. me and my gurl are doing the backpack thing for a month.

Gotta buick here too! 56 buick special....just put the order in for Scarebird disk brake setup. One thing about the drums on these old buicks...no stoppin them.

Nice to hear about another 53 special out there Putting floors in mine now. I am going to bag it but havent decided a whole lot more yet.

I have had several buicks over the last couple of years. A 53 2 dr hrd top[dagmar front bumper],39 chopped 2 dr sedan,59 2 dr hrd top,70 GS convert.

 

I have a '53 hardtop...love it! One of my favorite cars!

 

I have a 50 Buick seadanette on a Cadillac frame with aCadillac big block with all the goodies. One body mod to go then paint.

I have the 53 4-door Special (with the S8, 283). Question is what did you use for an adaptor for the 700R4? I found one on the web, but it is pricey.

hey you buick guys keep your eyes out for a steering shaft and steering wheel nut for a 55. Could really use it.

 

I have a 1952 Buick Special. I need some help getting her to breath again. I put in a new 6v coil, however I'm not getting any spark after that. Any ideas in getting her to turn over and start?
