man, I've been watching you put this thing together and it just keeps getting better... You sure you can't make it to the roundup in this thing???
All those little things add up. Looking good. Couple questions: What did you use on your headlight bar for the cup shaped part that the headlight bolts to? Also, What tires are those, and where did you get them? I wasn't able to find them on Coker, or Google.
Thanks...There no way it will make it to LSR...I would have to leave next week...and drive 14 hours...I don't even think its going to make Paso.. thers soooo much to do..it's overwhelming. but It will be there next year for sure..Probly with the MADSTER too :0)
If I tell you they will kill small children in Guam. hahahaha... Those are stock 30-31 model A headlight light bar Cut up and Torched in place...Bobbleed Molesed thos for me.. Tires I got from Coker..They are 7.00 X 15 Firestone fronts are 5.60 X15 I don't know I bought them about 6 months ago from there site.. Pm them they can tell you what they are..
P. I like the perforated metal hiding the drum. Nice touch. Before you chrome those headlight mounts, you might want to double check how straight they are. The left headlight looks closer to the grill shell than the right one. Bleed has a lazy left eye, so that could be the reason. haha. Cool.
YA its off a little bit ..but the head lights are not at there final place either they can get closer too..
Your coupe makes me want one just like yours. Cool Progress, Bitchin Ride. I'm always complaining about not having enough hours in a day. You just solved that because starting this weekend, My wife will learn to Weld or Sand... and yes I have scrap metal for her to practice on first.
what happened to the Edsel Insert Weez installed for ya??? HOLY HELL! i just noticed that the second pic was number 666 from my GNRS pics. YIKES!!
Looking good, Are you going to make a trip to Mexico to do all that chrome?? What happened to the bench seat with the Diamond tuck??
well... You know it worked with the SHOP VAC engine but with the Caddy... It just wasn't right Tyler.. The Diamond Tuck is not going to fit..I would have to cut the shit out of it and pretty much destroy it. I decided to do it right.. Still doing Diamond... even a Diamond roof insert...(White)
Absolutely beautiful. I love the detail. We could all learn from that. Your grille is perfect. The Rod Sets righteous.
Looking awesome. Can you move the oil bath lower? Just curious how the bath actually works. Looking at them on a stock motor it appears they are high for a reason. Possibly to drain when you kill the motor. I like it better down lower and am curious about this. I may have to do some research unless you already have, Keep up the cool work. Can wait to see the pics cruising in PASO Rusty
That coupe is totally tits-up, Evel... and Dave's stitching will be the icing on that cake. Congrats!
Evel, Sure wish my coupe was that far along. Yours is gong to be really neat. Hope to see ya with it at Paso ! 41 Dave
You need more chrome?! Damn, I'd better pay my bill....I'm a few days late! How about rounding out the mesh behind the wheel? Make it convex.
