How do I remove Model A torque tube/buggy spring?

Getting ready to dis***emble the original drivetrain on our Model A project.

I've pulled plenty of engines, tranmissions, and rear axles, but never on a Model A. Seems simple enough, but I don't want to do anything dumb or screw up anything (drivetrain going to another HAMBer).

Should I unbolt both ends of the torque tube, just the front, or just the rear, before pulling the engine?

With the body off the frame, will I have to compress the rear buggy spring?

    Thanks in advance!

Hook up support chains to engine from your hoist.
Disconnect and remove radiator hoses, radiator, radiator support rods, and any wiring harnesses, pedal linkages, spark and throttle rods, choke rod, fuel lines, and exhaust pipe clamp at end of manifold.
Unbolt the U-joint caps from the rear of the transmission.
Unbolt the side motor support boxes.
Unbolt the front center motor mount yoke from under the crossmember.
Unbolt transmission shift top from transmission, if body is still on frame.
Lift engine/trans ***embly out and find safe stable storage place.

Disconnect speedometer cable from torque tube.
Disconnect brake rods from rear end.
Disconnect shock links. Unbolt u-bolts on rear crossmember.
Drop spring and rearend out from crossmember.
Roll back and away to dismantling space.
Get copy of "Restorer's Model A SHop Manual, complete and illustrated" from any Model A Parts Vendor. Enjoy your car.

Thanks for those details. We're pulling the body first, so that will makes things go a lot easier.
