Is this Bracket For This ?

This is on my extra 36 cab,

I was wondering if anyone knew what this bracket was for?

Is this bracket for a turn signal?

there is a handle or lever

inside the cab in middle of the door above the driver's seat.


the reflector (stop sign)i don't have but i know someone who has it!

 

Probably had a regular old tail/stop light up there so folks behind could see it over/around the load. That looks like a big truck ch***is so it could have been a log truck or cotton truck or cane truck or cattle truck.

It's probably part of an old semaphore. Like newer school buses have for their flip out stop signs... or like the old train crossing signals.
