I hope... It'll run... Workin' my *** off doin' all kinds off last minute jobs to get the bike running and to get it safe/reliable for the road... Here's some pics, in no particular order, so you can see some progress of the last few weeks. It has to be done by next weekend. The weather is good at the moment and we have two pretty good shows next weekend. I will be stoked if I can take my bike out there! Some pics of my buddy's '69 Shovel bobber...
Awesome work you guys. I ***** about getting to the garage after work, kids, wife, etc. I shudder at the thought of doing it overseas. Really good work on both bikes! Jay
That,s one cool bike . I am busting to do a bike next , I ride a 98 triumph trident every day, would love to do a real triumph!! . The prices for twins are getting high over here in Belfast , is there much stuff over there ? Even thinking about a yam xs 650 for a project it would be a lot cheaper.
lookin good!I like the right hand side pipes arrangement!-ever think of a set of flat Vee handelbars?
Dang Maurice, looking good my brother. Your pal's shovel's cool as **** too. I totally dig the taillight. So are you gonna tear her apart and do the paint, or run it as is for now?
Yo! Thanks guys! Glad you like our bikes..! Hey Nads! What's up man! I'm not gonna paint the bike yet.. I covered it in WD40. Works great! I'm gonna ride it like this through summer, so we can make some more modifications on it if we want, or when needed. After that we'll paint it. We managed to create the exact same flake as the seat! So were probably gonna spray it that color some day. V8minor... There's quite some stuff to get overhere, new and used. But some of it is really expensive. Especially original Triumph engine parts which are NOS or re-makes. I got all the 'special' stuff through E-bay or in the States though. Like the seat, fender, grips, Z-bars, front wheel, pipes, etc... Choprods... About the V-bars... I have a set of lowered and de-swept Sportster bars. They kinda look like old flattrack bars. I think I'm gonna put those on some day. It gives the bike a little more of a racier look. About Robin's tail light, haha, that was funny. He bought it for 7 bucks from the shadiest guy we've ever seen at a swapmeet. It was in Belgium. That dude only spoke French, we don't. We had to do the whole deal with handsigns, haha! We've still never found out what the light is from. We've seen some Japanese built Harleys with similar ones.
Wow! I've been watching your progress throughout, very impressive. Your bike is *****IN! Hope you make your deadline.
Damn, those bikes are ****in nice, great job guys! I love the style of both of em, I would loveto have one like yours dutchman. Helluva job! Mike
