Anybody know of any good looking valve covers for Chevy centerbolt heads? I know Moon has some nice units but at close to $300 bucks, that is a little out of my price range. I am also aware of the v/c adapters, but that will make for too tall a cover on the RS of my engine, hitting the A/C mount. Anyone know of anything else? I don't want the run of the mill stuff on Ebay, either. Thanks.

I think you can find plain aluminum covers on Ebay for around a hundred bucks or so. You could also powdercoat or polish the stock LT1 covers for a lot less. They're not a bad looking cover. GM parts also sells a chrome plated stocker.

Someone told me studebaker valve covers fit those but I could be mistaken. It wouldn't hurt to check though.

  9. studebaker covers are a pretty much bolt on swap. but then again, you would be in the same boat as the guys who try to disguise their chevy mills to look like early olds motors.if you are running a chevy dont try to hide it ,run some old edelbrocks with the adapters. mike
