Its fnnn rainen agian! Thats two nights in a row...the sky is fallin the sky is fallin....I am going but not sure if I am gunna drive my 34...to embarr***ed by the ifs...

 

Still, dry here in my part of Phx. Cloudy but dry.

We're still waiting on the rain to quit, and talking with the track officials about moving the start time to later in the day. I'll post more info as I get it.

Just got the word it quit raining out there and they are prepping the track. The race is on. I'm heading out. See ya there!

 

It turned out to be a beautiful day.

Participation was pretty small.
Some of the guys were all decked out and looked like they were at a costume party. 20 year olds from the 50's?

I went to the Nostalgia Drag races and Reunion today at SouthWest International outside of Tucson today - enjoyed a great car show & great drag racing. There was also a guy there handing out flyers for Speedworld North of Phoenix advertising the 3rd annual Invitational Drag Race & Reunion Saturday April 14th. It also states they are having displays of Vintage/Nostagia Dragsters, Funny Cars, G***ers ,Altereds,Hot Rods & more. Sounds good to me!
