just had my 1956 oldsmobile engine rebuilt.

Water is leaking through the exhaust manifold. How to seal the bolts? I am using arp stainless bolts. Sealed the gaskets with copper permatex RTV.

    any help is welcome

I did the heads on my 59 Olds a couple of years back and had the same thing. Two of the bolts go into the water jacket. I think we put some gasket sealer (water pump type) on the bolt threads and it cured it.

Make sure the bolts and head are dry and throw some RTV Silicone on the threads of the bolt. Make sure the heads aren't cracked due to overtorking.
