Injured Drag Racer Needs Your Prayers

Here I am posting a question about strombergs & I see this. Kind of makes my question insigificant.

Great question.
Eric's accident was caused by a tire failure at 320+ MPH at the finishline. very similar to the accident that took Darrell Russells life a couple years back. This makes you realize what a very dangerous sport this is. I have been an active competitor in NHRA Alcohol racing for the past 13+ years. The NHRA "rules" make the cars as safe as possible, but , BUT you never know when something you cant control is going to happen. My oldest daughter is a very close friend to Eric, and we are praying that he will pull out of this. Please say a prayer for Eric, his father John Medlin, and Mr. John Force.

 

Eric Medlin passed away this afternoon. Too heartbroken to say more. God speed friend.

Dang it... my thoughts are with his racing family as well as his personal family and friends.
