After selling the 48 Im ready to jump back in. Seeing Dirty's sedan at the HAMB drags has had me thinking all winter. I bought this yesterday. The body is in great shape, came with the frame, wishbone, rear radius rods, axle, F1 shock mounts etc. etc.

I figured if Roothawg could buy two cars this weekend, I should be able to buy one.

I need to finish this bike project so I have some time to collect some parts.

  2. I really envy you guys out west. If you find a body of that vintage around here, it'd be rust from the door handles down. And up, for that matter. Looks like a pretty solid body. So, what's the plan?

If the sedan turns out anything like your Buick was it should be nice.

Get that bike done fast so you can start on the A.

Did that thing come outta Kansas? There was a dude selling one at the L-Ville swap that looked just like that a few weeks back, said he was headed to Oklahoma and had pics of it with a tree growing through it. It was a steal, too, but more than I had on me and he was leaving town that night...

No, its a California car and has been in AZ for 7 years.

  15. If you do as good a job on the sedan as the bike, it ought to be really nice. Did you do anything on the jockey journal about the bike?
