I have read through as many old threads as I can find, and I cannot find the one where someone listed the astro van disk number? Anyone got a idea. If not a number how about just a good description to relay to my parts pals.
I don't remember the part #, but I think I got it off of the Inliners International website. Either there, or the Stovebolt pages. I've got it out in the garage. Give me a minute, and I'll run out and take a look. Phil
I just read through Grant Galbraith's article on The Stovebolt page, and he talks about using the '85 Astro 11 inch clutch. He doesn't give a part number though. Definitely check out www.inliners.org. Go to the Tech. articles, then to the T5 page. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?
Gonna put a five speed under the 54 ragtop I just bought. I am itchin to put a gambino package under it, but I want to make sure it drives out first. I got a couple of 55 chev rears, and a 55 car belhousing. I realy apreciate the info. I am taking pics of this project I will post some in a day or two, these converts have a huge crossmember, I am probably gonna have to use a two piece driveline.
If you have one of the four cylinder or V6 GM T5s with the 1" diameter x 14 spline input shaft, the 11" diameter disc from an Astro is NAPA part RCF 4212. If you have a T5 from a V8 Camaro / F'Bird that has the 1-1/8" diameter x 26 spline input shaft, use the V8 Camaro disc. That is all I think I know. Piper106
