Another Flakey Mofo in Austin.....

    This is what I did today.....it's drock6570's 64 Monteray. More work to be done tomorrow!

    We thought we might have it ready for the Dog & Duck tomorrow night, but looks like the weather might make a mess of things...about got the worst part of the wetsanding over with now. Should start spraying again tonight!

    Putting the final coats of clear on it all right now, it's coming out pretty damn good too for a two day job and working as quickly as possible in a home garage! Couple of snafus, but nothing deal breaking and kind of expected without a booth and alot of time. I'll throw up a new pic after I finish clearing it and the fumes clear out of the garage!
     
  10. Looks HELLA GOOD Switchblade, I hope I can see it at the RoundUp. Keep up the great work. I've got a DevilBiss w/a 2.2 tip just itchin' to try my hand at some of that messy flake. It also comes w/ a 1.8, hehe. Wonderful stuff.

    Car won't be IN the roundup, but it will be out on congress allllll weekend! The roof thing wasn't planned ahead, we just kinda decided to do it :p . If he knew this was going to get done he probaly would've registered.

    this thing came out bad *** for being a two day job!! I just want to let everyone know Im accepting donations so I can get the rest of the car painted!! Big ups John & Anne for letting us use their garage all week-end!!! If the weather holds, we should make the Duck with her tonight.

    Im thinkin supremes kevin, im just with the stock steel and spinner caps right now. still need to change out p*** fender and get the rear quarters repaired-----come in sciflyer---struggler calling sciflyer---do you copy------over
