What kustom shops or kool hang outs are in the Green Bay, WI area?!? I'm scheduled to be at the World of Wheels Autorama show this weekend and I'd like somewhere to go after the show each night or even before the show...besides the hotel. (Friday 5pm-10pm, Sat 11am-10pm and Sunday 11am-7pm)
Biz-mon I feel sorry for you.W.o.w is good for less than an hour of entertainment the rest of your stay will be hell....Ben wasting my time at that show on and off for 20 + years not this year. If there is somewhere to hang out in G.B I'd like to know too...
Carguy365-24-7, Aren't you the same guy who said your fiance says NO?!? If there's some kool places in Green Bay, besides W.o.W...you'll find me there!?!
Hey John: I'll see you there Saturday, don't forget to bring my trim. I also have a little lettering job for you if you are up to it. BB
You know what's a really fun thing to do in Green Bay? Pack up and get the **** out of there. (stolen from Dave Attell...)
BobK, I'm hauling parts across the boarder just for you and I'll have my brushes ready for your brain bucket. See you then...
Damn it! I was going to use that. Now I've got nothing funny to say. Yeah, WOW is pretty gay. I met Ed Roth and George Barris there but the place isn't very big and the cars that are usually there are boring at best. That's something you go to for a couple hours, not a weekend.
There has to be at least one kustom garage, old junk yard or kool hang out place in the Green Bay area?!? Isn't there???
Unless your favorite colors are green and gold, there is nutt'n to do.....there were a few guys from Green bay area that had a garage night once a week , but don't know when or who.
Well I found several places in G.B. despite the lack of response of the locals. 2 junk yards on the way there (adding to the list of stops) Down town had a place called "Hip Kats". High way resturant "Hudson" with real good shakes and burgers. The Automobile muesum was closed when I stop (must've been warned) I have one question though, was there a sale on green and yellow paint at the local hard ware store??? It was enough to make you sick and what's with the gaint "G" everwhere?!?
Glad you found some good entertainment. I didnt get to thank you for all the work you did to put the panel jam together. It was a great thing to bring to green bay, and i hope you make it happen next year too. Thanks for the "Biz-Mon" swag too......... Later, ROB
Hey John: Thank for the work on the panel jam, and the lines on my brain bucket, and the excellent lettering job on the club plaque. Also a special thanks for the Pontiac trim that I have been looking for the last 5 years. Good to see you again and I'm sure we will run into each other some other time this summer or for sure at the Pile Up. I did not know about the Packard museum, where the hell is it? BB
Rob, Never a dull moment when I'm in town...even in G.B. I'm working with "the Italian", "Web" and "AutoramaBob" on adding G.B. to the list of stops for the L.E.A.F. panel jams. Your car looked killer maybe next year I can park inside with you, Carl and Web?!! Send me a picture of where you put the sticker and the girl who gets to wear that t-shirt...(just kidding)...Wait no I'm not?!
BobK, Always glad to help a fellow HAMBer in need. It was my honor slapping the paint on your stuff (I'll post some pics during the Friday Art Show.) Looking forward to seeing your open top with the trim in place. "Tazhog" posted something about a "Packer Hall of Fame"?! I just ***umed he was talking about cars!? The place across the street with all the "G"s looked like it could hold a few cars, but it was closed before and after the car show all weekend.
Hey Biz-mon, It was a pleasure slingin One Shot with you in Green Bay this weekend. Keep it wet and I'll see you down the road. Web out!
