I had a '40 Dodge once. They're not considered prime custom material but I've always liked the lines of early Mopar stuff. With a different grille treatment it could be a stunning car - they have lots of potential if you're willing to do some work. I don't know production numbers but the relative value is not as good as say a Ford or Chevy of the same year so don't worry about cutting it up to make something you like. Do a web search and you'll find some info on them. Also, post some pics of it on the main board and you'll get some input. Welcome to the HAMB - you've got a great resource at your fingertips here.
Go to the "Questions and Suggestions" section. There's a whole thread about how to do it several different ways.
I sold my 36 Dodge Coupe to make my 32 roadster dream come true...i found most infos on my dodge by searching Google for Dodge Brothers...nevermind the year...wish u luck.
Welcome to the Hamb. I too am a Mopar lover, have a 41 Chrysler Windsor sedan (stock) and curently buliding a 48 Dodge coupe with a 318 auto, r&p and disc brakes.
