'53,'54 Chevy vs Pontiac trim question....

On 53 and 54 Chevy's at the base of the windows the trim has a indentation that runs in the center of the stainless all the way around.
I know the pontiacs have a nice accent below the quarter windows, but does it have this same indentation?

Do any of you guy's have pics of the pontiac trim?
If so, could ya post em please?

I have a little something on my mind for my chevy...and depending on what the Poncho's look like is gonna depend on what i do.
If my idea works, i'll post pics when i get it all together.

I think so too, but i wasn't possitive 'cause i havnt seen a many of those old pontiacs..

49 to 52 is smooth, 53/54 had indentations. Wheres Rocky when ya need him.

I have a 52 Pontiac, there's no indentation in the body where the spear goes, is that what you mean? If you want, I can get a pic of just the spear if you'd like?

Dat Dirty Rat hooked me up with really nice '49-52 pontiac trim, like the '52 above, but it's not really gonna work like i hoped.
I may have to change my plans a touch.
Back to the drawing board.......

or, you guy's know anyone with the pieces below the quarter window for a 53 or 54 poncho????????
