    Dave,

Congrats on the first web design. Some thoughts of an avid web browser. Change the "About" to "galleries". Since you have the bio section separate. Run the bio section through a spell checker or read it aloud. My wife's a teacher so sue me. :) Add Willie's address and phone on page 1. Just some help.
Nice layout and easy to navigate. Great job to both of you.

I like it. I like sites like his that have a simple design. It makes for easy navigation.

I think you are off to a great start, so please don't take this wrong. You did ask what we think... :)

I would encourage you to go through each page looking for typographical errors. It might help to have someone else who is a good editor look at them for you. It is often hard to find your own errors. The other suggestion of pasting stuff into your wordprocessor is a good one.

I saw some words that were spelled wrong, and several instances where apostrophes were used incorrectly. I also noticed one page (links) where everything was in the same font except for one line. It needs to be consistent if you want it to look professional.

The layout of the links page was confusing at first because I was not sure if things went left to right or whatever. I think it would be more readable if it were more structured. This will become even more important if you want it to grow. You might even, eventually, want to sort them into categories.

On the "about" page, at least on my computer running IE6, the photos that move right to left are partially obscured by the static photo on the left. You can barely see the bottom of the moving stuff poking out, and the scroll bar disappears under the coupe pic on the left.

The moving photos don't quite fit into the field they are in, either, so they have scroll bars to scroll up and down as well as left to right. maybe you can adjust the size of the area they fit into so that the whole thing is visible?

It is a cool tool to play with, but it might cause you more problems than it is worth. Keep in mind that fancy stuff like that makes the page load slower, and it may require some sort of plugin that your viewer does not have installed (flash, java, etc..). Those things might alienate some potential customers who are using older computers or dialup internet access. You have to weigh the pros with the cons.

Oh, and some of your photos look "squished," like the ones on the "services" page. This usually happens when you take a photo of a given size, and force it to be another size. Either it happened when you cropped it, or it happened because you forced it into a space on the page that has different proportions (like forcing a 100X100 photo to be 100X80). It makes it look like it got stepped on. If it happened when you cropped and resized it, make sure you have the checkbox checked in your software for "constrain proportions" or whatever so that the photo stays proportional when you resize it.

It really does look good over all. I swear! :)
