    Nice stuff.
I´m in the process of building a chopper bike myself. Lotsa work...
2 and a half months left to get It ready In time for a car/ bike show here in Finland. It will be flake painted ,ten coats of clear, and everything polished to the max... Here are some pics, not the most updated but they might tell something...

Hey Mike, do you have a flyer for this build off? I just remembered about a guy in Dubuque Iowa that builds bikes. I bet we can get him to show up.

This is a really nice build! did you build the forks too, or are they off something else? functional?

  8. Cool stuff. Maybe I should finish the bike I started a few years ago. Never got around to making a side car out of a trash can for my son to ride in.

No kiddin! Me and a friend have been kickin' around a side car idea for a long time. But we gotta finish his chopper first. His looks kinda like my wheelie chopper bike( that's me doin the wheelie). His bike has a drum brake front wheel with a matching 2 speed rear coaster brake. Hopefully we can finish it for the build-off.

Yes. Everything is going to be selfmade as far as possible.(Well not exactly as far as possible,)but within reasonable limits... I´ll post new pics soon...

  14. Here is one I started for a Build-off on a another site, but thought I would share my ideas. I don't have a fork for it yet. I know what I want, but vintage parts are hard to find.

Here are a couple of mine. The lowrider is a seriously stalled project, but at least I have it rideable now that I finished some wheels up. Hubs are high flange (old 10 speed) converted to 'suicide' fixed gear, and no brakes, laced into painted alloy rims. The frame started as an Eaton's Glider..... it's been through a bit of metalwork though:D. It's kind of cramped to ride, but as such, rides very well. It will be black with flames and pintripes when done.

the next one is a more useable bike, still a suicide fixie conversion. I wanted the bare minimum of parts, and I'm just leaving the patina, although I might build a new wheelset for it that is actually "finished"

I'll see if I can't throw another one together real quick! It was a blast last year, and I expect nothing less this year! Can't wait to see you come up with this year, as your flat tracker kicked major ass! Truthfully I'd be lying if I said I'm not giddy with anticipation as far as seeing the Falcon as well!!

edit: I think I'm going to do a pedal car this year though vs. a bike. I've got a pink taxi sitting around that's screaming for a pull behind kiddie wagon conversion coupled with tons of candy and flake.... kind of works out better as my buddy has a kid on the way. heh.

I picked up this one yesterday. I guess you can almost call it a barn find (it was leaning up next to a barn). Needs a lot of work. Not sure if I will get anything done to it by the build off date.

maybe I'll finish the bike I intended to build for LAST year.

So how many people did you get last year? I showed this to my 11 year old brother and he got psyched so we're going to build-up an old Columbia I have. I just want to make sure there's not 6 people sitting in a lot before I drive from CT with a bicycle and an 11 year old.

I have to admit, I am really excited too.
