Charlotte Auto Fair 4/12-15 who going?

Me and the Mrs. will be driving down from Ohio in our 66 Nova wagon (light blue). My spot is QO-18. Thats row Q, ORANGE field, spot 18. I don't think you'll miss the wagon if nothin else. Where will you be???

For those who do not know ... QO-18 means the Orange field , Row Q and space number 18

There is a Green field, and a Red field and then the BLUE field
I have spaces ( XXB - 94 to XXB - 98 ) in the Blue field, Modified Driver is across the isle and krusty40 is my next door neighbor. ... Modified Driver also leases a few of his spaces to other HAMBERS that changes from time to time ... Some of the Sockers from Georgia usually show up ...

3 Deuces, Boones, Hotrodprimer, Viper 32 and a few other HAMBERS have been known to stop, rest a bit and drink a beverage ...

 

I'll be there next to Deuce (what are you doing up at 3 am?) selling my light blue primer '56 Chevy mild custom and the usual excess from my shop. Hoping for weather like these past few days! Stop by and say Hi. XXB-98 vic

I'll be in Charlotte - on a work trip - with no hope of being able to get to the Autofair.

I'm planning to go on Saturday for a bit... I'll be near Winston-Salem that weekend picking up some parts & stuff for my Fleetline anyways.

Anybody need me to pick up something along the way & deliver to the AutoFair? I can go I-30 from Dallas to Little Rock, then pick up I-40 through TN and into NC to Winston-Salem (preferred route), or I can do I-20 from Dallas to Atlanta, then scoot up I-85. Long-bed half-ton pickup... mostly empty from TX to NC.

Like Deuce Rdstr said - we'll be in the infield of turn 2 renting from Modified driver. Camping Thursday night - probably leaving sunday morning or sat afternoon. Me, Modifieddrive, Dirty Doug, PBRmeasap, flt-blk, greenmtnboy, bloodyknuckles are the only known villians right now.

Looking forward to it now. Can't wait to hear tell of all them good stories from Texas

 

I live about 40 clicks west of LMS ,so I go to both Spring & Fall Autofairs...usually go on Friday & walk til' my legs give out...struggle back to my truck and swear this is the last time I'll do it ...but, come next show ,I'm rarin' to go...I'll look for the lt.blue 66 Nova ..as I sold my 67 Nova wagon to finance my latest moneypit Stan

 

Me and my shadow will be there Thurs thru Sat about noon.

 

Maybe we should do a HAMB meet on Sat. I'll be there to try and spend my money...

I'm going to hunt down your spot as a location to leave some junk that we buy, so we don't have to lug it out the parkling lot, just one trip at the end of the day.

 

I'll be there probably Friday or Saturday maybe both.

 

I'll be there with a trailer full of stuff, hopeing to make a few bucks to throw at the 3 projects I've got going. Don't have a space yet, but plan on putting up a sign welcoming the HAMB family. Later

 

I am flying into Atlanta from Zurich on Friday. I am returning early so I can make the autofair. I will be there all day Saturday.

 

Is the dirt track accross the street holding its night bus races and car towing boat race? Remember the portolet with the jet engine - aw that was classic.

 

The wife and i will also be their PG-113 (Green feild )See you all their..

Likewise if you purchase something down in turns 3 or 4, you can leave it in my spot for a while. QO-18 (orange). Only thing I think I'll bring is some wheels to sell, but thats it. And thats a maybe.

your on here....missed your call last week...on vacation...

 

My brother and I are coming up from Atlanta on Friday night. We are making a maiden voyage in his 50 Buick Jetback ratrod. Keep an eye out for us on 85 Northbound. We are looking for a decent grille for his and I'm looking for parts for my 40 Ford sedan deluxe. Do I have a barn story for ya about my car!!!!!! I'll try to post pics and story soon.

 

30º here.... can't wait for the 70º + next week.
