Maybe because the guy is busy with his 5 window coupe that he has had since the 50's , maybe cause he is building a roadster, maybe cause he is building a cool sedan as well. Paint is just that , paint it can and will be changed at some point. ****ing style police . The guy has more hot rod in his toe nail clippings than many of the keyboard jockies in here do in there entire body!

I actually saw something much worse than this about 30 miles from here, spindles were built out of plate steel welded to some rods or all thread or something to hold motorcycle wheels on. Axle was an piece of pipe with holes for the spindles. Fairly sure it was just stuck right onto the frame, without any suspension.

This car was pretty much full-sized, falling somewhere in-between Go-Kart and MG-sized. But...poorly executed.

Not sure what kind of engine was in it, it was all sheetmetal that was bent and tacked down here and there, painted flat-black, and generally looked like some kind of mutant parade vehicle.

Guy did have an Nice '64 AMC and Galaxy. The above car looked like it was pulling garden decoration duty.

  15. Anthrapologists believe that to be true. Some kind of a walkin' across the ice theory or some such. :D:D

Personally I don't like anyone that's not from my block and I don't like most of them. Hell I don't think that a hot rod built anywhere by anyone unless its exactly the way I might have done it my self in my own garage if I had the skill is worth a ****. I actually don't like anyone here I only come here for the angst I wanna be a poet someday.;);)

That said that POS is still an abortion anyway you spell it.

  24. Hey Jay,

I wouldn't tell anyone to do anything illegal, but...

I think the easiest way to ***le this thing would be to scavenge the ***le from a currently licensed car, along with the vin tag.

And I don't want to heap any more abuse on you, but, I think that you might find the outlay of time and money involved in getting a 'legit' ***le (before you even started on the paint/bodywork) might make you think twice about getting further involved in this one.

BTW: what does it have for drivetrain?

I'm pretty sure that going the Caterham-ish route would be the only decent looking way for it to be revived.
