was hoping one of these two rearend i picked up today would fit my buick 9-3/8 . i soon discovered it wasn't the same. could someone help me figure out what i have? it has 4 veins on each side it has a plate insted of a yoke, its posi, 50A and --n the - are 3 8 or 9's i think the other one you can only read the 50A and the next three didgits are not readable. its a drop out with 10 bolts holding it in the housing 3 on top and bottom 2 on each side. also those are the only bolts on the cover ( nothing around the pinion area like some fords have) i got these from a guy who had a 50's or 60's chevy pick up if that helps .

    thanks in advance

It's definetly not Chevy truck. Kind of looks like a Pontiac. Don't think it'll fit in a Buick housing, though.

I thought Chrysler at first myself, but changed my mind because it didn't have the pinion snubber. Didn't consider Dodge truck, though.
