Stude, you are the man, Next year you should come to the roundup, you have made a big deposit in the "luck/kharma bank" so you should be able to hit the road with confidence

I have a 235 in Jefferson City if you need it. $300.00

It came out of a 57 truck that was "upgraded" to a 350.

The HAMB rocks. YOu guys really helped me out on my way to the Roundup last year and really came through for Bobby and Kacy now.

I t ried to contact the Bombers in STL, but then I saw the actual post and that things were taken care of.

guys better get in touch with Orange54 and pull some fellow hambers together. $300 bucks seems pretty cheap compared to getting it hauled home.

Has anyone checked with BenD about hauling it? His home base is right around there, he's an Alliance Member and all around swell guy.

Just to be fair, my dad (flamed58) is the one who has the truck, trailer, garage, and tools to make this all take place in such a short time. I hope all you guys are having a good time in Texas.:D

So, if he scores either one of those motors and they work out, it will be a thrash to go HOME rather than to the show? Hmm, kind of reverse psychosis or something. I like it.

I'm glad you guys are all out there, it is like AAA with dependability!

I would like to thank everyone for all there help. thanks tuck for getting this post up there so fast. With in an hour of talking to stude on the phone he was there haulin our car on to his trailer. He went out of his way and gave us free range of his garage and his tools. In any other situation, finding someone on line, going to their house and leaving your car there while you keep heading toward texas ( we arnt there yet) sounds crazy, but not in the hamb world. Everything that could go wrong went wrong so far on this trip but it has been amazing, we have met so many amazing people, like stude and his family, and this guy neil who stopped and directed traffic while we loaded up the trailer and followed us to sutdes house to help work on the car. The next day another of our group broke down. We happened to be near a junk yard and get some parts but they did have all what we needed. Then a 17yr old kid drives up in his flat gray pickup and saves the day. He takes us to his familys house and lets us use all there tools. I have to say we arnt in texas but it doesnt feel like we failed, we are going to get there, tonight. Thanks again to everyone, we have lots of pics and we will post the story of our trip very soon.
