Greetings from the Sunshine State, Starting off with a quick "hey". My name is Pete and I don't own anything older than about a '65 Dodge. Enjoyed the site and thought I'd trade lies online... I hope to maintain and improve the rides I currently have and to pick up any advise or pointers from the m***es. By the way, I am a big Mopar fan. Stay warm, P.
Welcome from so. Illinois...I lived in Sebring for many years and loved it, wife hated it so here we are back in the mid-west...
Glenn33, How s it going up there? Sorry to hear you went back to the cold. We're here in Ft. Myers. Sebring is a great place to be. You're an hour and a half from everywhere in Fl. By the way it was about 87 Degrees this afternoon. It looks like you guys got slammed after the first of the year with the white stuff. Anyway the 12 hour race is a great event. I have a tough time deciding between that or Sun "n" Fun in Lakeland each year ( I'm also a commercial pilot). Talk to you soon, Pete,
Welcome Pilot Pete, To The Hamb. You're Gonna Love It Here . I Know I Do. Got Any Pics, Of Your Mopar ?? Rafa.
Pete, I lived just a half a mile from the track and the airport in Sebring, it was great. Always something going on at either place. And you're right Sebring was so centrally located. I really miss it. Never made it to Sun N Fun, but heard alot of good things about it. Did you ever get to Lake Placid for the Caladium Festival Car Show in August? I chaired that show for about 5 years.
