Friends stranded in dallas

    My brother and his buddy broke a coilover in dallas on the way back from the round up. If anyone can help him, let me know or call him. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks DAVE

    Try Red Dog on here, I don't have his number but he should be in the phone book his name is Johnny Murdock, tell him Roy Caruthers from Indy told you to call him.

    Hugh (53Ash), V, (TorqueWench58), Big ken and I got em going and they left Chilli parking lot around 9:30 headed for Ok city.

    Ironic indeed, after just posting a reply about the generous help of this forum, heres a couple of our Nebraska home boys KO'd by a broken coil over on a hot rod just finished for this trek after about a 20 mile test drive. And as before our pals have them repaired and back on the road!! As I said, awesome people here. Take a bow good folks!!_Sololobo

    Any nothing some JB Weld ..duck tape and Zippy ties can't fix!!! But they still had along drive ahead of them.. Hopefully no more road gremlins!!!

    I'd be curious to know what the heck causes a coilover to break or what part of it broke.

    It was good to meet you hiboy32! Did you learn a lot from Mr. Olson about your flatty? This was the first time I had met him, but that man has probably forgotten more than I'll ever know. He's got lots of stories from the good ole days.

    how did i not even know about this thread!?? i knew we had farm fresh in the club for a reason. and all this time i thought he was only good for eatin cheese burgers. thanks again for getting us back on the road guys, and ya, u bolts work better when they are tight. she made it back to omaha with no problems after our dallas layover. i'm still havin' a blast tellin the story. see you at the hamb drags!!
