Here's a little video of DV8 pullin' his hot rod outta the garage on the first day we got it going. We have some tuning to do..but its pretty much there.

Thanks Tim! Wow...I shot a little "doughnut" out of the exhaust there at the end!

Thanks! It was a real rush driving it around for the first time. This is the second flatty-powered hot rod that MBL and I built, I think we're starting to get the hang of it!

I'd be more than happy to come down there & show you two why guys with flattys shouldn't taunt guys with big nasty buick motors, but unfortunately the state of Florida has decided that it would be best if I didn't drive for awhile. I'm probably going to end up selling the old beast anyway.

Lately I'm really into the idea of putting together a really solid, functional late 50's chevy p/u with a mild 283 (daily driver w/ good gas mileage - something I'd probably keep forever) and like a late 60's / early 70's FLH to bomb around on, and concentrating my speed fix on building a car to run at the 1/4 mile track down in Bradenton.

And I still have the Riv, just need to get a good sheetmetal donor to fix her,

And post a few pics of Jon's truck while you've got the thread going.

Jon, I got to hear it the other day when you called Ralph. It sounded pretty good over the phone. Bring it over in a couple of weeks and we'll line it up side the "Nightmare" and see what it will do:D :D
