Driving I-35 in the rain SUCKS! We made it in one piece though. I had an absolute blast!! The Kontinentals have done a great job keeping Congress under control so everyone still has a good time without the drama. The new show location was just as good as the park and much easier to get around in. I vote for keeping it. Only 363-ish days untill the next one! Many many more pictures here.
It started as a '46 Ford chassis. I think it was built in '56. It's a completely one-off fiberglass car, the windshield is '55 t-bird. Originally had a flathead but has a 264 chevy in it now. I should have taken a close-up picture of the tires, but I didn't....they were cool too....."Scrape" here owns the car and can tell you more about it.
Look like those carbs have the invisible fuel line hooked up....must be running on the four on the other side? or??
Looks like great fun!! Next year I'll be drivin mine out from So Cal. A good reason to see the kids./
That friggen red and white shoebox RULES! Isn't it a coupe? I think that might is another fine exception to the "coupes don't look right chopped" idea. WOW!
WOW...this car rules!!!! I take it it's going to get some chrome trim...... gonna be WICKED!!!! Nice pics!!!
Thanks a TON for sharing! Does anyone know what these taillights are? They look OEM off something, but I've been wrong before....except about how they would match perfectly to the rear of my 50!.
