You know, the old Superior style wheels?

Moon is re-popping them, but not in Gold.

I've been looking for one, and I'm beginning to think they never existed?

Someone did, as I had on in my old coupe. I still have it as well as a lime-gold one. Sorry not for sale. Cause I know you were going to ask that next Keith.

I have a very nice Grant gold flake wheel (not for sale) that came from a Jeep guy. When I found it, it was completely wrapped in friction tape, even the spokes. They are out there, and I've seen several for sale at prices around $75

My brother-in-law (Sean72 here on the HAMB) bought a gold one from Mooneyes a few years back for his gold Buick Wagon. If I remember right, he bought the last one they had in stock right off the display wall. I think they told him, at the time, that there were no plans to make anymore in gold.

thanks for all the replies. at least now I know I'm not looking for something that never was.

    I'll keep my eyes peeled.

and Keith, how about a "semi-permanant loan" type of situation? ha ha.

Sam at Rocco & Cheaters had half a dozen NOS gold flake wheels hanging up last time I was there, but he won't part with any of them. Several were gold and a couple were more of a copper color.

I have one...its defiantly seen better days. The spokes are pitted up pretty badly. I was going to put it on my gold metal flake dune buggy, but its just a little to rough looking for that project. It hangs on the wall for now.

I've got one! I'll trade for a 32 for sure.;) It's definitely got some "patina", I'll measure it and take a pic if you are interested. It looks like a Superior, but I don't ever rememeber seeing a logo on it at all.

They show up on egay but to find them you put (rat rod) in the search almost all the metalflake wheels pop up in that catagory.
