I think this thing is dam cool. Please keep the board posted on your progress. You cannot create history out of thin air and this car has it.

VERY COOL! Excited to know such a wild custom is gonna be so close to home (my home that is)! Would love to check that car out when it makes its way north. Really can't wait to see it restored, hopefully cruisin around here.

I agree. I thought the third door was a little much.

I gotta tell you, while --IN MY opinion-- and thats ALL it is an opinion, it may not be the "koolest" looking kustom, it is truly a very well executed kustom, that tilt front end is fraking heavy!!! and it seems to be perfectly balanced!!! But if YOU like the way it looks, thats ALL that matters!!!! BUT, Damn.... you talk about "traditional"?!?!? MAN !!! Just imagine what some of the local yokels were saying when Jim McNiel bought his Merc. off of that used car lot..... yeah you know the one...Hirohata,!!! Some of you here are saying the same thing THEY were saying back then in the 70's!!! KOOL1 I wish all the best for you on this build and please keep a log of it for some of us dreamers around here!!! Hell maybe I am just all "touchy/feely" right now because a "true survivor" is being saved but I am excited for ---->YOU.... Good Luck, Ken

Hearing this makes me feel really good. I was inches away from buying this car for myself, the only reason I didn't jump on it is because I have too much stuff going on right now and I don't think I could give it the attention it deserves, and it wouldn't be right to buy it and then let it sit for years while I got caught up.

Please post pictures of your progress and if there's ever anything that I can do to help, just let me know. This car is probably going to haunt me for a while, the one that got away.

I like it too. I was gonna buy it but it got too expensive for me. I guess I am cheap, but the car will need some $$$ to bring around. I do hope you keep us up do date on the build.

Wow. I didn't realize it was for sale until reading this thread just now, which is probably best for my wallet.

Congrats kool1. Looking forward to progress pics as you save that great custom.
