Craigslist Bargain 48 Ford Coupe MPLS.

Saturday night I was checking out the MPLS Craigslist.....as was my buddy Chris. Sunday morning we brought this home. He got first shot at it. It was an absolute bargain. Mustang II, CE parallel leaf rear, boxes of stuff.

The best parts were a acid dipped 47 Olds grille and a NOS 50 Pontiac taillights.

Chop looks good in the pics, the work in the posts is good, the long welds across the car may need to be cut out and refinished, but very workable.

 

I wonder how much chop it has? Looks like a good start.

 

The guy said 2" (vertical) from the front post, and maybe 2 1/2 at the rear. Kind of a mild chop for an early custom look, but yeah the proportions are good.

 

I saw that and thought it looked like a nice project, way to go.

 

Looks good with really nice proportions! Too many cars are "overchopped" anyway...
