    Here's the press release:

"Rod & Kulture Makes the Scene

Traditional Rod & Kulture Illustrated www.rodandkulture.com has formed a partnership with Goodguys for the 2007 event season. The Bakersfield, California-based magazine, which features traditional rods & kustoms, motorcycles, music, art and lifestyle, will participate in four Goodguys events this year.

At the events, the magazine staff will present the “Rod & Kulture” pick – a uniquely styled and hand crafted award that will go to, you got it, a traditional rod or kustom. Fans can also look for extensive event coverage of the four events the magazine attends.

Founded in 2005 by Stevens Publishing, Rod & Kulture is published quarterly and features a full color format. The magazine’s editor “Zombie” is widely known in counter culture car circles and has been writing about and photographing traditional rods & kustoms for over six years. Rod & Kulture is distributed internationally and can be found here in the US on the magazine rack at most major booksellers including Barnes & Noble."

It's going to be cool. In fact, here's the winner from the Del Mar event. He got a bitchin' one-off trophy put together by Zombie and striped Tommy Herrera. Whiners stay away if you can't figure out the huge pluses to this.

I'm stoked about the whole thing!

Cool deal. I'm going to take a wild guess and say that 95% of the award winners cars will belong to HAMB'ers. ;)

we're stoked as well. everyone has seen the abundance of good traditional coverage in the gazzette as well as the growing attendance of traditional rides showing up at these events. it was really a no brainer. we're exited to be a part of it and to help promote the influx of more traditional rods and customs into these events. thanks again kirk, and brandon.

    I'd say Yes.

We go to GG's Columbus every year.

Last years HAMB meet & greet had to have at least 80 or more people. And I know of several that didn't make the greet.

BTW, Great news on the partnership. The mag. is awesome.

Glad to hear that indy is going to be one of their coverage dates.

Kirk, are you gonna be at Indy this year? Friday night there is going to be a cool get together party at Bubbas shop on Gasoline alley geared toward HAMBers and the HAMB Dragsters. If you make it here be sure to check it out.

What was the first? Did Boyd get the boot so he will not be taking up all the good parking for his "Glory Rods".
