depending on how you're coming into houston there's this one:
    http://www.daleysalvage.com/

i've never been there, but been told its not bad.
i've called them a couple times looking for stuff and they're really cool about going out to the yard and checking to see what they have.

    take care

John has a huge yard mainly 50-60's stuff but some older in there. The yard is huge! worth it just to walk through...

In Schulenberg, IH-10 to Houston, inside the city limits there is a yard, Kurtz?, I was by there when they were closed..crawled on top of a chicken coop next door and saw an acre of square roofs..been trying to get back or turn on someone else..little place just east of Bastrop..Cookies in New Braunfels...

not DIRECTLY on the way, but there is a bunch of stuff on 190 between Ft. Hood and Belton. and since you are in "that side" of the state, Owens Salvage in Wellington is great.

Well, I was going to suggest John's Salvage Co in Sequin but Coopercruisers beat me to it. Some of us call the place Candyland, and well worth the drive. We bring our checkbooks, pack a lunch, and make a day of it. I should give him a call and see if he still has that $1500, 41 Ford pick up.
