Hi, I am not on here much, and do you not know a lot about traditional rod. I was just wondering how much a 26 model t would be worth. Everything is there, except for the hood. All the gl*** is good and in tact. Unfortuntly, the roof is done for. How much is it worth, or to part out? I could get pics up later if needed.thanks guys.
Post a pic or two and you may have someone here make an offer, but you also want to consider throwing a price on it and putting it in the for sale section
I paid $1,200 for my 26 sedan body. No ch***is, running gear, feders, hood, or grille shell. There is not a lot of demand for Model T ch***is stuff these days. I'd think the total package is worth $2,500 max. But I note that the guy I bought my body off of could not find a buyer for the complete care and wound up parting it out.
Body and all parts there of, ch***is, motor, diff and suspension are no use unless your only going to run a banger. Use A or later ch***is and suspension. But then thats just my opinion, its going to be a hotrod there are hundreds of ways to build it.
hey 37kid, really have no idea wether or not it has wire or wood wheels. I could check into it for you if needed.
Hes not asking how much its worth to a traditionalist builder. hes asking how much can he get for it in general.. there are a lot of ******** restoration types that would pay a nice amount for a complete T. for them the ch***is and engine are just as key as the body.
Yes, I did consider that, but I would have to find the right person to buy it. I would like to build it into a traditional rod, I just do not have to knowledge, space, or finacial freedom to do so.
Its worth getting it as cheap as you can .Being this car is stored inside the body is probably in real nice shape. I woudl buy the whole car as cheap as posible sale and trade off all the non needed parts for your build. And at the end of the day you will be in to the body nothing. Fenders aprons hoods engines all bring big bux for the 26-27. And If it has 21 in wire wheels there worth in good shape 500 bux and dont for get the wire wheel hubs there big cash but 26 didnt have wires 27 was the first year ford put wires on stock
