Since a few people are getting rightfully antsy about the status of these I just wanted to update that I was called last Friday (3 days ago) and told they were going in the mail to me that day. I should hopefully be recieving them today and shipping them out directly. As I reminded one of the overly anxious patrons, I tried to make it clear when taking the initial PRE-orders last month that at that point the pieces were not yet even made. This was not something I had control over and I am sorry if the wait seemed too long. First fifty people who ordered should start looking in their mail boxes for these peices no earlier than Friday or Monday. If something else comes up that delays these any further I will immediately let you know. The second batch should be coming along soon as well. A few people sent money after the first batch was closed and will be in on the second batch, but I will not take any more orders until I have the next ones in my hand so no one else gets worried about where they are at. It's not really a h***le. I just don't understand the angry emails that start with "this is getting really old". It's only been nearly a month since I took the PRE-orders. I never promised a ship date or said they were "in the mail" repeatedly so I don't understand the "stop jerking us around" tone. Like I said, I didn't make these or do it to make money, I was just asked to be the middleman since I was kinda doing this on a daily basis already. Thanks, Jim
Some people don't realize this is CUSTOM MADE stuff, not m***-produced in a factory, and you are just helping us out. I hope it doesn't sour you, some of us understand and appreciate these things take time. They should price something like this from a production shop, and their waiting period.
Jim, I am sorry you are getting this type of at***ude from anyone on the HAMB. You are just trying to provide a service and are at the mercy of the company who produces the product. I will be ready to order one when they become available. 41 Dave

Guys that ***** on time frames on custom stuff, don't understand, because they never BUILT CUSTOM,,,, only bought it. Tell them to piss off, life is too short.
Just bringing it back to the top as I'm still getting "WHERE"S MY TOPPER!!??" e-mails. Update is the toppers came yesterday while I was on a 16-hour adventure delivering Mike his parts for his '36 Ford pickup. Already planned a trip today to Disneyland for my 3 kids who are on Spring Break so the toppers will go out on THURSDAY. Thanks very much, Jim

I'm the guy who had them made... and it was nothing more than a concept with a prototype when Jim started selling them. These things aren't just sitting on a shelf at Walmart. I'd give the whiners their money back. Sam.
I understand everyone is excited, but the e-mails that say that I've been jerking people around for SO LONG just bum me out. Got plenty of PMs telling me to take my time and get them out when I can- so it all balances out. Yuo will all be happily bolting them on next week.
