Wow that was a wild trip. We didnt hardly take any pics at the roundup(we did make it, barely) the excitement was in the trip. Wasnt that strom the worst? At least you made it to Austin!!!

 

Great story and cool pictures and great to see it all worked out thru all that trouble..

 

Great road trip pics. Being able to repair the car on the highway is an art, now try that on any of todays new cars.

If i build it, i will drive it anywhere.... period... nothing will stop me from trying. thats what its all about.. its not about the show or the cars at the show, its the adventure getting there and the people. I have great friends.

The thing I was the happiest about on this trip was how calm and cool we all stayed. we made the best of every situation. a couple years ago if i would have blown up my car, I would have probably kicked a dent in the side of it and thrown a fit. not this year, i stayed cool, I laughed about it. there was nothing i can do. I can finally tell ive gotten older. Ive got more character now!!!

Bobby...what a crazy story. That quote above is right on.... I'm glad you guys all had a great time and kept your cools....Maybe next year Tara and I can meet up with on the way.....so add one more car in the mix to break down....haha

Great story, great post and a good lesson in life. I've gotten unreasonably pissed off at alot less.... so I'll remember you guys and you cool heads next time something happens to me on a trip...
