not trying to change your mind but I was thinking of using 2 of the 6volt in series kinda of like a flat six battery!

What'cha runnin' for an engine? For more amps, you could always run 2 of 'em, wired in series for more amps.
Uhh, you do know that's a jap application battery, right. You're A might want to run on rice and need a 5" fart can exhaust!!:D

I know quite a few people that are running this setup. You pigback the 6's to get to 12 volt. Its all about the space, you can set them inline behind your seat and barely take up 4 inches of width.

I have a 51r in my "jap" car and it runs all the power accessories, custom stereo and probably more than you are ever planning on having. I have had no probs what so ever. The lower CCA's have never been an issue. YMMV but I'm happy with it and it cranks a whole lot better than what it replaced.

  7. I have used the 51 group Optima (the Honda one) before with great results, but I was just going to buy one for a project I am currently working on. I was told that they have been discontined, I can still find them for sale online but was worried about buying on and having warranty problems.

I ordered an Odyssey battery and am very happy with its quality,I bought the larger of the Odyssey battery's and it is smaller and lighter than the Optima. Just thought I would share my latest battery hoha.
