Thanks for the pictures.....I do love looking at junkyard stuff. Looks like they keep the place nice and neat.
That would be a dream yard here in jersey. Anything that old in a yard here is rusted to the door handles. Its always cool to see they still exist somewhere. Thanks for the pics.
Every now and then I'm reminded of yet another reason why I don't like MI- Are there many yards like that in Tejas?
Yes we east coasters tear up when we see yards like that that kind of quality just doesn't survive here some of those look like you could air up the tires and go starting to feel faint Mark
Good thing them is all in Texas and I'm in northern ILL! I'd be even more broke then I am now. Thanks for the pictures. Gene
There is PLENTY of Gm, Ford , etc .. I prefer Mopars, tried not to only take those pics but... I asked him about a deck lid off a 65 Fury III ..now those are not even a "collectors" car .. at all $295.00 He must have 20 of them I just wanted it to cut the back panel off for a patch panel for my wagon That deck lid on the bay, might bring 50 bucks, I'll find another one The 64 wagon in the picture and its RUFF .. $2000.00 He had me over the pickle barrel on a rust free door for my old dodge truck .. $300.00 and he stripped every last piece off of it Not that I needed those pieces but.. geeeez
Shoot us a price on a complete car...one of the forties and a fifties there...let us decide what's " a tad high"... R-
DAMN. I could use some stuff off those '56 Buicks! Hmmm.....Havent been to TX yet. sounds like time for a road trip! Mike Thanks for sharin
There is ALLOT of old stuff in Texas ..I see it all the time I've not been down every road but ..This yard is a exception in size
It would depend on car .. I did not ask price on too many Its 100 acres of stuff .. Think he calls the place C and C auto ranch Its in Sanger, Texas ..
I have to go to Grand Prairie every 4 months for Army stuff for my work. So I finally stopped by it one day. Thats the place north of Ft Worth on the west side of I-35, right? Seems like nice people. I didnt find anything I needed, so I headed back home. Cool place though. Lots of nice tin there to be had! On a similar note: If you want a decent price and are trying to find a part you need, try calling Gene Hauff Auto here in Stillwater, OK. 405-372-1585. Not open on weekends anymore. He is a bit high on peices, but wanted to clear out the entire yard. Nice people. All you noobs posting in the wanted sections might try both of these places for those hard to find peices. If they are not busy, their both helpful. Gene told me he plans to sell it all and crush what doesnt sell someday. He doesnt know me other than by face, so I have no vested intrest other than Ill probably cry a little inside when he does sell.
that maxi van has my attention i have to get mydaily rides from down south... and next to the freeway man that would be the first to go to get the ramps put in here... they would move the interstate to do just that..
"That's no junkyard! That's my backyard and those are all my cars I am going to restore when I get around to it, now Go On! Get off my yard!" Seriously that is a high on price but I am sure he just waits until he finds someone that needs it bad enough. Also, probably doesn't help to show a lot of interest. I also HATE when they pull all the little pieces off especially at a high price. Seriously, it's like "oh someone else may want these pieces too or maybe this guy will ask for them and I can squeze out a little more coin." Some people...
