I am humbled by the awe-inspiring PaperDog! C'mon down to Bettie's RAM-BA-LAM RUMBLE-IN... Another brain fade...ALL RODS...NO CATTLE show!
That's not hard. We've been doing it at the Pileup since 2002. We get a few pissy people, but most get it and respect it. Just make sure your criteria is CLEAR and well advertised with your flyers/website/ads/etc. "ol skool" is not "clear". So... um... "funtime girls"? I thought you could only do that in Vegas... Houston is on the Bayou? Bayou Boogie If you want to limit yourself to a fad, but one that will get you a lot of attention now, work in "rat rod" like The Rat Rod Rustle
there you go something with rat rod in it cause it is the lastest phrase for this game South Texas Rat Rod Hustle Hey Kirk I like yours too a lil bit of everthing for the m***es right
Clutch City = Nickname for Houston earned by the NBA Rockets when the Rockets won the 1994 - 1995 championship after an unspectacular regular season. Houstonians would love this reference, and, well, car people would like the word 'clutch'. Breakdown = An instrumental break in a song sometimes limited to just percussion(hammering exhaust). In the context of other gatherings named 'roundup' and 'pileup', 'breakdown' has a nice ring to it.
thanks i guess? right off the top o my head too cmon i had only about 3 minutes to think about it-- how else do people do this ... just start thinkin and it spills forth stay on the ground blast off just try and hold our jets rough reentry all systems go wild nasa and space travel are lost on the trekkie generation???
I would add a name but every time I fly to Texas I get stuck in the airport cuz of bad weather......I like Texas, but I can't fly there!
I think the Houston Hoedown sounds good. Kinda similar to the "Lonestar Roundup", but different enuff to seperate the two shows.
