OT: Signing off, but not out

  1. I will be "off-the-air" begining Monday noon until about the end of April. I should be back HAMBoning by then. We will arrive in Kuwait on the 18th and I should be on the job by the 22nd. I will sure miss not going to the HAMB drags and debuting the Gizzle Hopper. I was looking forward to that. But, alas, it will have to wait until next year.

Hey Beep, are you a contractor or military? Either way, watch your back cuz the **** is on in Iraq. A friend that went to school with my sons is a medic over there and says he gets shot at every time they go out on patrol. A lot worse than when he first got there. He says they have a new armored suit to wear that is similiar to football pads and stuff. Gives them more protection but is heavy and hot. Like they need that. Good luck and represent the USA my friend, don't take no **** off any of those *******s. Get back on the HAMB and let us know how your doing as soon as you can. I'll put you on my prayer list. Adios for now.

must be a good job to get you to go. Take care of yourself. If you decide to stay, I just found two 534 inch MEL's for sale... it would keep you busy for a while. I also found another 1000 horse drag axle... you won't find this stuff in Kuwait but I do suggest you bring back a few barrels to power your monster. Seriously, take care buddy.

Not much to say. You know the risks more than any of us.
We'll see you when you get back and I hope to see a big smoking burnout at the debut.

Post a mailing addy. I'm sure all the fellas here could get together to mail you some Rodder's journal and the like. I'd be into it.

    Be well out there.

  18. Keep safe behind the wire mate. Toured there a while ago myself, shoot first, don't ask questions and always have the pointy end out.

The reason folks are feeling safe and complacent and lets get out of this stupid war is because there are folks like Beep willing to go around the world and do the work and keep us safe..there are a bunch of crazy people out there that want to put an end to our freedoms (run the video of NYC/WTC through your brain again) the reason it hasn't happened again is our determination and vigilance..can't thank you enough Beep, and my buddy Chuck who is over there as a plumbing engineer helping them build water plants and bring them out of the stone age...

  20. Keep your head down even Kuwait is too close to hell. Come back safe and git the gizzle hopper out where you can make us all proud.

    See ya soon
