This is my first post so please don't jump down my throat if this post is wrong in some way.

I am hanging a nose on a 51 Ford. I bought the car in pieces with many of them missing. My question is about the hood hinges, Do the bolts that are on the hood side have a bushing that allows the hinge arm to rotate around the bolt when the hood is lowered or raised??

Any source or anybody know a replacement solution??

I appreciate the help and great board!!

Yup, ebay has em from time to time but try Macs Antique Auto. Should be the same 49-at least 55 Ford, Lincoln, Mercury. But check before crossing somehting.

Right about the shoulder bolts. If you are working on a 51 Ford, then you need to get a Dennis Carpenter catalog. He sells all those little oddball parts you might need.
Great company to work with by the way.

I would suggest you buy a couple extra, they have a tendency to break off real easy. Even brand new repop ones......
