I LOVE old drag strip pics!

 

I'm totally diggin the home made wheely bars this guy is sporting. Not sure that strap steel is structurally going to do much to prevent the wheely, but the industrial casters are cool. This is so a hot-rodding pic if I have ever seen one!

What is the chrome over the headlight and down the side of the Nomad? I have never seen that before.

 

the first set is national speedway center moriches long island

 

All 55' nomads came with that chrome,Very pricey to replace,ask me how I know!

 

I like the 50(?) Willys. Neat.
