finally some pics of my belair

the first few are the car getting sanded with my kids helping and the others are after I painted it with rustolium saten black and lowered it 3" in the rear and 4" in the front,hope you enjoy,any comments welcome(good or bad)thanks Howell.

 

forgot to mention next week I will be putting on 14" smoothies with white walls,im thinking of grinding them to widewhite,i did a test tire and it came out nice,after there on i will post more pics,howell

Nice, I like the headlight treatment, and the trunk looks clean that way. When you get the white walls on it will match your dog!

That's a nice lookin' ride. The peeked headlights are always a nice touch on these cars. It will look even better with the wide whites on it.

 

The peaked lights do look very nice on these cars. Sits really nice. I'd get rid of the window sticker and put the factory turn signal lenses back in (you asked).

Should look really nice with the new wheels and WWW.

 

the turn signal lens were taped off and painted like that,their old and dry rotted,I have to replace them anyway,do you think I should go with clear or amber lens and the window sticker I couldnt decide on taking it off or keeping it,its old and faded but i thought looked kind of cool,what does everybody think

 

You can get new clear ones on egay for just a few bucks.

I'd go with the clear lenses and get rid of the sticker for sure. Other then that its looking good

 

Looks evil. Needs some stripe on it to finish it off. Like the plate are in the decklid. Like the peaks. Don't like the sticker. I like amber signals.

Nice job. Good looking kids, nice to see them getting their fill of lead paint at an early age from something other than gnawing on the stair railing!

I've been watching your posts lately and thought I'd give you an "attaboy". Save those pics of the kids helping out because trust me, speaking as a grandpa, those are the best memories. Be sure to give them a hug and while you are at it give em one from and old fart that loves 54's also. When I am gone my grandson gets mine.

Looks good. Definatly need to chrome the bumpers.Add more grill teeth and chrome the wrap-arounds. Otherwise it just looks like big black brick.

 

Hey guys,thanks for the great comments,for all of you im scrapping the sticker off,thats why im here, for the advise and experiance of the H.A.M.B.E.R.S. As for the kids they are wonderful and WANT to help our family in any way they can,their the best .
