..........well, as much sun as we've had in April. With me pitching in on the weekends, Nick Harrison (English Nick) lent his expertise in ch***is building and miscellaneous fabrication skills to help me get the roadster ready for this summer. More buffing needed next weekend. I have a new found respect for body men, painters and wet sanders! Bonneville or bust......... 331 SBC, T5, hairpins, P&J ladder bars, Super Bell. All the usual goodies plus all suspension parts electroless nickle plated. The caps will be Ford '40 Deluxe. Clean and simple
Hey Al, great looking roadster, did you not have one a few years ago that was black? Anyways I like the look... John
John.........yep I had a black roadster a few years ago. Every man needs two hot rods and now I have a fair weather car (roadster) and a foul weather car ('36 coupe). McKee.........I don't plan on racing it AT Bonneville. I plan on racing it TO Bonneville with a bunch of other Canadians. Care to join us? We leave Aug 6th.
McKee........I had the plating done by a shop in Georgetown. It was way less expensive than chrome but has extreme rust corrosion and a bit of a shine to it. If I wanted to, I could spend hours buffing it to a shine but I like the muted look. If you are intersted, I'll have to look up the address.
