Plastic to make kustom knobs and tail lites

Where do you find it?

 

Tap plastics- Its like a steel supply yard, but for plastics. Most major cities have one.

 

McMaster Carr has a good selection of plastics or just about anything else you can think of. Site is also pretty easy to use.

 

I use Smooth-On resin.

 

What kind of plastic can be shaped for custom tail lites(model car and full size)?

 

BLUF: expensive unless you are making more than several sets to sell to recoup the cost.
