    Just finished up adapting a World Class T5 from a 94 Mustang to a 218CuIn Plymouth. Went pretty smooth. Made a 1/2" plate from aluminum that had an index ring to center itself in the bell housing and bored a hole in it to accept the bearing retainer from the T-5 (Its bigger than the Plymouth hole) Turned down the sleeve that the throwout bearing rides on to match the plymouth one, made a puck to ride in the center of the flywheel, and accept a stock Ford pilot bearing, and got a clutch disc from Surge Clutch and Driveline in SouthHolland IL (Highly reccomend them they know there stuff, and are reasonable on pricing) and it all bolted together nicely.
    Bought the trans for 200.00 with a B&M Ripper shifter, a steel bearing retainer (New in box) and Mustang Driveshaft, and sold the original 3 spd for 250.00 Made out like a raped ape if I dont say so myself. I can get dimensions if anyone needs them. The 94 up Mustang trans is the key here as the input shaft is 3/4" longer than the early ones, allowing for the 1/2" adapter plate.
    Will be installing this in my Old Mans 53 Plymouth Wagon, with a 4.10 8.8 from a Explorer. ( same 5x4.5" bolt pattern, within 1/2" WMS to WMS as the original and disc brakes for 75.00 at the Pick a Part yard.) Nice budjet driveline so far... Peace Murf

    Thats awesome, I have been looking for a chevy t-5 for my 50 since a few guys on here have used them for a mopar. I will have to keep in mind that a 94 + mustang trans will work with an adaptor like you described. Keep us posted.

    Great info - got any pics?

    Just FYI - the '94-95 Mustang T-5 input shaft that's a bit longer can be retrofit to any '89-93 Mustang if need be - and vice verse.

    Yeah, I actually used a 93 Trans with a 94-5 input shaft to make it work. Stoopid me, I didnt take pics while it was apart, Its bolted together now (still not in the car), but I'll get some pics this weekend. My next trick will be a AX-15 swapped behind a F-head for my Willys Watermelon wagon project

    Yup, keeping the stock bell housing and clutch pedal assy, going to gut the master, and run a pushrod through it to the under floor Master/Booster setup under the front seat.

    Does that 94 + Mustang T5 have a electric speedo or a normal mechanical one?

    I believe all Mustangs have mechanical speedo...or provisions for one (ie - mech to elec sender)

    Murfman;
    Sounds interesting. Couple of questions. On the world class T-5 the shifter is located at the rear of the tailstock. This will put it in the middle of the original bench seat in your car. Have you changes seats? Any pictures?

    You can, of course, change the shifter position by using the tailshaft & topcover from an S10...

    Yes, I do make the T5 adapter kits for both the Ford and S-10 T5s. Kits include the machined plate, flat head allan screws, pilot bushing and clutch disc. Email me for the Photos and details!

    I actually forgot about this thread, as to the shifter, the bench seat was long gone when we got the car, and here is a pic fo the floor pan with the shifter hole in place:

    looking at the picture, I think the shifter handle could be bent to clear the bench seat, especially for my as I'm 6' 5" tall and keep the seat pretty far back. The wagon will probably end up with low back bucket seats anyway.
