I am going to sell my 88 chevy truck but its got problems such as a bad front axle and some other stuff, I have told the person who said he would buy it what I know is wrong with it but I'd like to cover my **** by writing on the transfer papers "as is where is" so I don't hear from this guy complaining about this or that would that phrase cover me or should I just part it out? edit: I just realized I put in a no no year but it would pertain to any vehicle being sold privately
put "conditions of sale: as is where is, purchaser is responsible for any repairs needed on vehicle" that should do it
