I have very little motor experience. Putting 235 together, I had a stock cam ground to what I was told is a corvette cam-or possibly a 260 cam? Using solid lifters, my question is what pushrods do I use? would it be 260 pushrods, or something different? Probably stupid question but I want accurate info before I slap her together, Thanks to all.

What the cam grinder probably meant was 261, which was a big truck engine (1 1/2 ton and bigger). Use the stock pushrods, they were the same . Basically, what you now have is the same grind as the '53-'55 6 cylinder 'Vette. You'll see some performance increase over stock. You will have to make sure to get correct lifters for the year block that you have. '58 and later blocks use a different lifter that the earlier blocks for oiling. Ask the cam grinder what he reccomends for clearance, it may be different for the application you're using it for than the original 261 truck engine.
